I am a self-taught southern native, poet, illustrator, and acrylic artist from New Orleans, LA currently residing in Indianapolis, IN. Growing up in a home with two siblings, creative arts has always been a hidden pleasure of mine. I would often find myself surrounded by nature’s arms as I eluded myself from the outside world adrift within my imagination creating some form of art. Having the support of loving parents gave me the courage to live within my passions which has never negated me.
My home usually consists of one or more fury friends. Throughout life, my field of work has always been helping others consisting of work as a Vet Assistant, with the elderly and those suffering with mental illness and addiction. My love for inspiring and helping others is what gives me purpose.
Living in a brightly colored city full of inspiration from majestic sceneries, music, local cuisine to cultural celebrations, and dance has all allowed me to find a deeper beauty within life. I believe we are all here to appreciate, create, advocate, and cultivate. By means of visual and verbal expression, I will indeed plant my seeds into the world.
During my duration of writing, I have published through the Poetry Society of Indiana in an anthology titled; “Ink to Paper” Vol 5, Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in “Eskenazi Heath Cares” Vol 8 Issue 4, and soon a Chapbook published by “Finishing Line Press titled; “An Engraved Woman”.
Writing and painting is my release of agony along with memorable beauty stuck within my mind. My voice is not just for me, but all other voices that have be silenced.
