Artist Biography
I am a self-taught southern native poet, illustrator, and acrylic painter from New Orleans, LA currently residing in Indianapolis, IN. Growing up in a home with two siblings, creative arts has always been a hidden pleasure of mine. I would often find myself surrounded by nature’s arms as I eluded myself from the outside world adrift within my imagination creating some form of art. Having the support of loving parents gave me the courage to live within my passions which has never negated me.
Living in a brightly colored city full of inspiration from majestic scenery, music, local cuisine to cultural celebrations, and dance has all allowed me to find a deeper beauty within life. I believe we are all here to appreciate, create, advocate, and cultivate in which by means of visual and verbal expression, I will indeed plant my seeds into the world.
